Dear members,
In connection with Children’s Day 2012 Celebrations of CEGOWAC, Calicut, it is proposed to conduct competitions in the following categories on 11th November 2012(Sunday) from 9.30 AM onwards at ALAKAPURI GUEST HOUSES, KARTHIKA HALL, Calicut.

| 1 | Elocution competition in English | For all students of 10th to 12th std in Calicut. Entries should be forwarded thro’ the Principals of the concerned schools. (limited to 1 for each item from a school) |
| 2 | Elocution competition in Malayalam | |
| 3 | Light music (Any language) | These items are exclusively for the children of CEGOWAC family and will be conducted at 2.30 PM onwards. |
There will be two groups
(1) up to LP section
(2) above LP section up to HS level4Recitation of poem in Malayalam.5Recitation of poem in English6Recitation of poem in Hindi7Essay writing in English8Painting.
Conditions and additional details
(1) There should be a minimum of three entries for conducting each item
(2) Drawing sheets for the painting competition will be provided by CEGOWAC
(3) Elocution competition carries rolling Shield, Certificate and prize money of Rs. 1000/- for first
place and Rs 500/- for second place.
(4) Decision of the committee shall be final and binding

CULTURAL EVENTS
Cultural items will be staged by the children on 14.11.12 from 6.30.PM at Alakapuri. Children interested in any stage performance may give their names to the secretary immediately.
All members are requested to attend the celebrations and make it a grand success.
